Creative Disruptions is a practical research course that focuses on critical engagement, encouraging a self-directed approach in learning. It is part of the Hacking Minor elective at the Willem de Kooning Academy for third year students (coming from various Major courses). This 18 week course is based on the theoretical framework of tactics and strategies from De Certeau’s ‘The Practice of Everyday life’ and applied to practical experiments relatable to the everyday practice of students.

I taught research and theory in the Hacking team. One of the main text that we focused on was Temporary Autonmous Zone by Hakim Bey.

Design research was a course for second year graphic design students. The class focused on research methods based on design practices and design related subjects.
